The Jazz Band at Santa Fe High School has a long tradition of entertaining audiences from community events in Alachua to judges at State MPA. The band has received Superior ratings at District MPA from the past 8 years. Most of the jazz band are also members of the Symphonic and Marching Bands. The Santa Fe Jazz Band performs many jazz standards, while also experimenting with newer compositions. A Spring Concert tradition for the past few years has been a challenging song from the Radiohead Jazz Project. The band has had the honor of working and performing with the world-renowned Christian Tamburr Quintet on several occasions.
